Writing a compelling discussion and conclusion section

The Discussion and Conclusion section can be challenging to write. If you structure your discussion section correctly and set the right tone, you will be cited more often and also provide a greater service to the scientific community.
So, what does the discussion section contain? How do you write it? This input session focuses on how to:

• present interpretation of your results with depth and insight
• contextualize your research within the broader academic landscape
• address the implications of your findings
• explore and articulate the potential impact of your work
• outline the limitations of your research
• consider how to find the delicate balance of presenting your research with both humility and confidence, ensuring your voice is both authoritative and approachable
