Developing the golden thread that holds your article/thesis together, 
for cumulative theses as well as monographs

In this workshop, you'll learn to build and strengthen the "golden thread", the central narrative or argument that guides readers through your work and gives it coherence and purpose. Whether you're writing an article, a monograph or a cumulative thesis, maintaining a clear through-line can feel challenging, so we'll explore what the golden thread looks like, and practise strategies for weaving it throughout your research text. Through guided analysis of text examples and engagement with your own work, you'll develop concrete revision techniques and tools for ensuring that every section, chapter, and argument point serves and reinforces your core narrative. 

Participants may continue for a further writing session in the Meet2Write Zoom room.
